Eggs-cellent Conditioner Recipe

What You Will Need

• 1 organic egg
• 1/2 teaspoon organic olive oil
• 3/4 c. of warm filtered water

What To Do

1. Beat the egg (white and yolk) until mixed and light color.
2. Add the oil and whisk quickly until mixed well. Pour mixture into a glass container (EcoDiva Tip: save your empty jelly, olive and pickle jars;they are perfect for this occasion.)
3. After shampooing and rinsing with your regular shampoo, add the entire contents of the container to your hair and massage into your scalp for 2 minutes. While massaging your scalp, take a moment to think about your favorite place in the world and enjoy a little mini-vacation right in your shower.

Oh So Sweet Conditioning Hair Mask Recipe

What You Will Need

• 1/2 organic banana
• 1/4 organic avocado
• 1/4 organic cantaloupe (you can skip this if not in season)
• 1tbsp organic plain yogurt
• 1 vitamin E capsule – or 1/2 teaspoon from bottle

What To Do

In a glass bowl, mash the banana, avocado and cantaloupe to a pasty consistency. You can also blend in a food processor for extra creaminess. Fold in the yogurt with a wooden spoon and drizzle the vitamin E. Mix well. Apply to wet clean hair and leave on for 15-20 minutes. While you are waiting for the mystical potion to do it’s stuff, this would be a great time to hand-write a note to an old friend telling them how thankful you are to have them in your life.

What You Will Need

• 1 tbsp organic olive oil
• 1 tbsp organic safflower oil
• 1 tbsp organic safflower oil
• 1 tbsp organic flax seed oil
• 1 tsp of essential lavender or vanilla oil (choose your favorite scent)

What To Do

Mix the oil together in a glass container and apply the entire mixture to dry hair. With a blow-dryer on the low heat setting, blow warm air all over your scalp for 3-5 minutes. Using a wooden comb, brush the mixture through your hair to the ends. Pull back in a gently pony tail or brush hair back into place and let the mixture work it’s magic for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, shampoo and condition as normal. While you are waiting for the oil to moisturize your hair, take the opportunity to turn on your favorite song and dance like nobody is watching. And while you’re at it…go ahead and sing too, you know you’re good!
